Dans sa th\u00e8se de doctorat intitul\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0L&rsquo;apprentissage des Autres : la construction rh\u00e9torique et les usages p\u00e9dagogiques de l&rsquo;alt\u00e9rit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise, 1830-1915\u00a0\u00bb, elle a explor\u00e9 les discours et les id\u00e9ologies imp\u00e9rialistes, racistes, orientalistes et genr\u00e9es en circulation dans le syst\u00e8me scolaire qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois aux XIXe et XXe si\u00e8cles. Sa nouvelle recherche porte sur l&rsquo;imaginaire imp\u00e9rial du Canada fran\u00e7ais dans la deuxi\u00e8me moiti\u00e9 du XIXe si\u00e8cle par l&rsquo;\u00e9tude de la figure du missionnaire \u00ab\u00a0h\u00e9ro\u00efque\u00a0\u00bb Albert Lacombe.
